Create a Passkey on Your Mobile Device (iOS)

This guide explains how to set up a Passkey for your Microsoft account directly from your mobile phone (iOS).

  1. Scan the QR code with your phone’s camera and open the link that appears, or go directly to aka.ms/mfasetup.

  2. Sign in if prompted, then select "Add sign-in method" and choose "Passkey"

  3. Click "Next", then click "Next" again

  5. Verify your identity again using your password and/or multi-factor authentication (MFA)
  6. Give your Passkey a name and click "Next"
